I trained as an architect, and somewhere between drawings and deadlines I became obsessed with the gap between what buildings look like and what it actually takes to make them. Unfiltered Dialogues is what came out of that obsession: long conversations with the people doing the work, the ones who lost commissions they should have won, who built things that surprised them, who see this city differently from the inside.
I am an outsider in Milan's design world, and I think that is the whole point. I ask the questions someone who grew up here might not think to ask.
